Are Pointy Tanks all the same . ? if not what years are diffrent .

Search for ron ayers parts fiche and compare the part numbers. I think it is same.

i have looked but because they all have diffrent part numbers i cant work it out . :S

I *think* they are slightly different, I read somewhere that the K3 and K5 ones have a slightly different bottom lip width, by something like a mm. I couldn't see it myself personally, and I can report that a K5 tank fit my K3 perfecty well.

K3 and K4 are slightly different, simply because the K3 has a different subframe and the K4 used K3 parts during manufacturing. They may still be interchangeable, but I can't guarantee that myself.

they all fit each other, if theirs any diff you may just need a new tank hinge.

another one .
there is some tanks on ebay . but some of them state that they have been resprayed?
Is this a bad thing ?
