Has Moto GP been less interesting with Stoner absent?
Now I know that the Rossi/Lorenzo sparring has been enthralling and that Casey Stoner's not everyone's cup of tea, but I haven't found the last three rounds of MotoGP as interesting.
Pedrosa doesn't seem to quite have it to make a consistent, regular three way tussle at the front which is what seemed to be happening earlier in the season. So I, for one, hope to see Stoner back on top form asap. While he was in the mix there seemed to be more permutations and it made for a better spectacle. What does everyone else think? |

thats the thing with racing though, sometimes is exciting, sometimes not. Its not something you can engineer.
I dont think its made any difference that Stoner wasnt around. |

I've missed him, the more contenders the better, makes it more exciting.

The thing with Stoner is that you just cannot gauge the performance of the Ducati unless he's on it. It's easy to imagine that even if he were back at full fitness we would still be focusing on the Jorge Vale battle for the title, because those two are simply so far ahead of everyone else, even Dani. But perhaps he would have been right up there all season.
I'd back him to be in the mix more often than not, and he's a loss to the series imo. |
