Anyone work for Sky?

Ive got a Sky viewing card being used for FTV chans on our box, but unfortunatly its region coding is wrong as i bought the box as a second and the card was registered to another person. I have tried to get sky to change it but they dont care and just want to sell another card. Duno if anyone has another way of doing it.

I don't think that you'll be able to change the region. You can get a freesat card from Sky (for £20) which will allow you to watch the FTV channels.

Edit: Thinking a bit more about it, you have you tried informing Sky of a change of address? I know that they'll update the region for subscribers when you move, but I'm not sure about the FTV cards.

Ummm, i think i tried a change of address but as the card was not originaly registered to me they say that i will need a new card. I think mabey ile just wait still the freesat boxes come down in price a little more. Thanks

My 'rents have their Sky Card set to Scotland, but they don't live in that country ;) - They got a local engineer to set it up for them, I doubt they know what to do, except it can be done without involving SKY.

they probably got the original card registered to an address in Scotland, sky seem to do it based on postcode
