New Engine needed.

Hi there
I have killed the engine of my 2002 sv 650.
I am looking for either a crankshaft and con rods or a new engine.
Can anyone tell me if a k3 engine will fit?

Thanks

Sam

Why won't it fit?

I mean I know it's FI and all that but I didn't think they were that different and I would have thought it would still run with carbs on.

I can't see any reason why a K3+ engine won't fit and work. I'm not sure about the difference between the two engine's electrical systems though.

the inner parts eg crank and what not should work thats why others have used gladius internals in curvy's before

Yes it will.

You need to change rotor and stator to carby one, also inlet stubs and blank off PAIR system plates. 2 hours if that.
