Be like the_lone_wolf: KTM 990 Adventure

SOLD

For sale is my KTM 990 Adventure in black, 57 plate 7762 miles.

Pre-registered to Redline Motorcycles and sold (as far as I am aware not a demonstrator) to previous owner who sold to me on ~7200 miles (total 3 registered owners). Taxed until Feb 2010.

Serviced by Premier at 625 miles and 4638 miles, in warranty until 28/11/09 so time to resolve any issues- I have found none.

NEVER OFFROADED, previous owner used it only on road having bought it for a KTM tour of North Africa which was cancelled. Has Avon Roadrider tyres fitted, probably still 2k miles life left (guestimate never having used them).

In very, very good condition.

Complete with crashbars and full set (including topbox) grey KTM luggage (H&B). KTM fitment heated grips. Instrument panel mounted 12v socket.

Like all 990s this has a lively throttle, but I don't consider it jerky (it's just different to a GS). Never fitted with Akra's or the mapping messed with.

Reason for sale I am not riding much now at all and don't ride through winter so this needs to go to someone who will use it. Reason for purchase was I had always fancied one but should have know better having not ridden my GS for 10 months previous .

These are not that tall by the way, the lowest of the 950/990 Adventure family.

£6600 enquiries please PM me.

Jerky throttle = cack handed riders who don't understand why KTM designed the bike to behave that way...;)

Nice bike at a good price there, don't be afraid of the height, mine's the "S" model with 2" extra suspension travel front and back, I can easily flat foot the regular model.

Truly a bike that can do anything, love mine to bits:cool:

Agreed. I might put the cam on were I going to offroad but not required IMO.

Don't fancy selling the topbox and rack separately do you?

I've sent someone I know who's looking for one this ad, as he may not want the top box;)
