Two tyres - any condition, can even be bald! (Not to be used on the bike)
 

Hi,
I've after two motorbike tyres, can be any make/model/size, any condition, and I'm willing to collect! (Ideally from around the Greater Manchester area, but I travel to Leicester fairly frequently, so would be happy to pick up from anywhere inbetween! :)

If you're wondering why, we've set-up a planter in the garden with a car tyre at the base, and a motorbike tyre screwed to it on top, and both painted black. Works wonders!
We've got two other car tyres, so we want to do the same to the other! :)

Try your local bike tyre shop.They will have dozens which they have to pay to get rid of so will be only too pleased to help.

can't you just go to a tyre place and ask for a couple ?

Hadn't thought of that to be honest!
Having said that, I'd rather take one from someone off the org to save them paying to get rid.

Will give it a few days and if no-one does I'll give some local bike tyre places a try :)

No.. "the tyre place" have to pay some one to take them away...

so I think they will let you take as many as you want...

Most people on .org won't be trade so will just take tyres down to household waste site with other crap.
