Help routing braided brake lines

I fitted HEL brake lines some time ago now but have struggled with routing them in a manner so they don't rub on the top of the front mudguard, so much so that I have patches of paint missing. I have emailed HEL asking for advise on routing (about a week ago now) but they have not replied. I have the two full length lines setup and have the line for the left hand brake crossing to that side below the bottom steering yolk, but the schematic diagram on the HEL website shows it crossing at the top yolk - the angle of the fitting supplied by HEL doesn't seem suitable to routing it this way. If you have fitted braided lines with this setup (ie 2 full length lines) have you had similar problems, or have you found a good solution? If you have a solution could you please help, otherwise I will buy a new set with the original OEM split setup because not only does the mudguard look a mess, I think the hoses must be quite strained on full compression of the suspension. Thanks.

I've got the same setup, and have put a line-seperator / clamp thingy at the level of the bottom yoke, then fixed that to the mounting point for the OEM splitter. The LHS line hangs nicely away from all body work, but the RHS is half over the mudguard (not touching it tho).

Thanks for your reply phi-dan. I've had another go at it today and used a couple of little rubber lined "P" clips on the bottom yolk splitter mounting points. Much improved now, ideally the hoses need to be shorter but I'm reluctant to take it off the road to do it at the moment.
