Ride In The Peaks

It's Sunday, nothing to do all day, weathers ok and the bike had an oil and filter swap yday, so I decided a full days riding is in order.:riding:

I started in Chesterfield headed out towards Buxton then over towards Congleton then through Rainow to Whaley Bridge. From Whaley Bridge I came back towards Castleton, up to Glossop then back down to Bakewell and home.

There was only me so just took it all at my own pace. Took in some fantastic fast flowing twisties and also some really remote country lanes with great views, a mix of everything really.

Managed to take in some of our regions best roads, 13 Bends, Cat and Fiddle, Snake Pass (twice) and Winnats Pass.

150 Miles, 1 Tank of Fuel, 5 Hours and one big smile later:D I'm uploading these

I saw a sign that said Parking with WC and it turned out to be an old dissused railway station thats been turned into local loo's

I love just going exploring on the bike sometimes. You always find something interesting, some good views, or a good road
