Urgent help - boyfriend a buffoon
How does he get the spring off the side stand for his Bandit?
Sorry it's a bandit. Yes, we are probably special but it's not helping that's it's all gunged up with crap and looks like it's never seen bike cleaner. He wanted me to ask the internet, so here I am. Thanks :( |
Re: Urgent help - boyfriend a buffoon
Put the stand down and put some coins between the coils of the extended spring.
Then slowly retract the stand and the spring will remain extended because of the coins. You should then be able to remove the spring. To re install hook spring onto stand, fully extend stand and remove the coins. |

Of course this works as long as it isn't a double spring jobbie (Yes Honda I'm looking at you).
