Helping a downed friend. (Hovis content)
 

Many of you have now heard the sad news about Hovis.

Now I never got to meet him but many people on here have said that he would do anything to help others.
In one of his recent threads he was raising money for a charity of his choice (and not his local bar either:rolleyes:).

His aim was to raise £500 and was just over halfway there.

Can we please see what we can scrape together to finish this off for him?

That's a really nice idea..... does the money go straight to them or will somebody need to send it?!?!

O contact the site to arrange it going to the charity?

I donated via PayPal and it opened a page direct for the charities account and donated straight into there . There is the option of ticking Gift Aid so that the charity gets more of the money rather than the Tax man dipping into it , hope this will clear up any doubts people may have . You can also keep the amount anonymous (as I have chosen to do) if you feel a bit private about those things , I didn`t want the Tax man to see how much he was losing out on because I`m nasty like that :p
