Nope - rode to work in the p*ssing rain, got suitably bathed enroute, but the bike didn't miss a beat.

Re: Quick Question, Fender Extender
In fairness all I have ever done to the plugs is clean them at the last service (apx 2k ago). They looked fine and I've never had a spark/running issue, so I didn't replace 'em.
I have been thinking about a FE for the winter however - just-in-case. |
Re: Quick Question, Fender Extender
I don't have a fender extender on my curvy, it's never missed a beat.
I've seen a K3 faired pointy coughing and spluttering with that issue. Me? Like the cheerful sheep I am I simply follow northwind's advice and use a little silicone grease round the plug cap when it goes in. Job jobbed. Jambo |
