Am i missing something... ??

Yes i have only watching the gp this year and have to say i have become hooked! So my knowledge is still very basic...


Why is Toni Without a ride next year.... he seems to have the ability but no one wants him??

He only has ability at selected times, usually when its contract time :D. He's a little inconsistent, but on his day awesome, like when he beat Rossi on the line at Estoril a couple of years back.

Edit - The quality is pretty poor but you get the idea (l particularly like the 2 bike overtake circa 1min 10 secs in)

Yep, that race is one of the best of all time in my opinion. It may be his only ever GP win, but what a win. He has a great style, I think if he got a good bike for Moto2 it would be no surprise to see him romp away with it, he's that good when his motivation is there.

+1 on toni's selective impressivness.

He is a great rider, and is very fast when he wants to / needs to be. But he isnt consistent enough to be a championship contender.

But you can bet that he'll be involved in the most exciting race of each season!

I'm hoping for more good things from Randy de Puniet next year - he remains with the same team, so hopefully this will mean he can continue to work in turning qualifying speed into race-long speed
