Bibio - poorly
 

Hi folks

Most of you know Bibio whether it's through his sunday ride outs or his mechanical knowledge and that he had his bike nicked a few weeks ago.

If you have been on one of his bimbles you may have noticed that he was having a lot of pain in his shoulder.

Well i had a call from him yesterday to tell me that he is currently in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Came as a bit of a shock to me. :eek:

He was getting checked for possible problems with his heart and i believe that the results had come back ok. The doctors were going to give him an angiogram ( http://www.medterms.com/script/main/...rticlekey=2256 ) to investigate further.

I received a message from Bibio today to tell me that he has to have a triple by pass.

I have asked him if he minded me telling you all and he was ok with that so I just thought i would let you all know.

Not sure when he is getting the surgery but I am sure you will all be a stunned as I was to hear this.

Bloody hell thats a bit serious. Hope everything gets sorted and you're back to normal soon mate :)

It sounds very scary, but after my dad and my father in law both had this op their health improved dramatically, so there is a positive side.
Plus with the modern treatments, recovery is really quick too.

Thank God, that means he won't be buying a Triumph then! :smile:

Hope they can operate quickly and he makes a rapid and full recovery.
