Advice no headlights curvey s
 

Put the bike away no problems last night, got bike out this morning, no lights low or high beam.

When i tried the flasher i get high beam lights, So I thinking its both hi / low fuses that have blown, looking at the wiring diagram.

anybody else had this issue?

(gutted as i had to use the car and sat in traffic lol)

It's unlikely that both fuses have blown simultaneously, but check them anyway. It's more likely that you have a power failure issue.

The headlight feed goes from the headlight switch to the dip switch, & then on to Hi or low beam dependant on the dip switch position.
Check for corrosion on the terminals on both handlebar switches. Due to the small sized terminals used it doesn't take much crud to stop the pins in the connector block making contact.

Had this problem myself, Stick your hand in behind the top yolk and find the terminal block connector which serves the lights, (orange connector IIRC). Give that a wiggle and see if they pop back on again.
Good news: if they flicker on again you know where the problem is.
Bad news: You need to removed all plastics from the front and get into the wiring to find why its become loose then you need to get it all soldered back together.

Cost me a weekend without my bike and about £60 worth of Labour at a local garage. Hope that helps :)

Just remembered, mine lasted a good few months just been held in the correct position (ie lights working) by loads of insulation tape. Just incase you cant sort out a garage repair just yet. That might help you through until a time it can be fixed properly. (Bare in mind the darkness is coming earlier now though, not advisable to be risking loosing those shiney life savers).
