Aren't bikers Great
My mate picked up his brand spanking Triumph Rocket III Touring last week. It is quite large and a little bigger than he is used to. So all of the guys in the office who ride, went out to collect it with him and escort him back safely. :plod:
He didn't know we were going to meet him there either and the rufty tufty chap had a little tear in his eye. So did one of the other blokes who gave him a lift in his car, as he was the only one without a bike :driving: (rides a viffer) That's one of the things I have always enjoyed about the whole biking thing, the community spirit :smt055 |
Re: Aren't bikers Great
So true, bikers are just great.
I stopped on the bike yesterday just to check my route on my A-Z and within seconds a gyuy pulled up on his bike asked where i was heading and said "chase me for a bit and when i drop off i'll point the way you wanna go" and off we went :) In the serviced office block where my head office is they decided to have a "Spotlight on X Company" each month. 1st firm to go bought times of Quality Street and left them in the kitchens on each floor with a nice message saying "Come and see us on the 3rd floor". I was running late to see clients so thought i'd run up to say thanks for a second.... and guess what Mr Biker Man (as they all know me) was THE ONLY person who went to say Hi and thanks, not even the peeps in the offices on their own floor had bother to say hi or thanks yet they'd all eaten the sweeties!! And it was 2 fairly good looking girls in the office too so i#ve decided all the other men blokes in my office block are wimps and or gay and all the women are rude and bitchy, lol. |
Re: Aren't bikers Great
Not all bikers are great.
Thankyou, Mr Twit R1 rider yesterday, filtering behind me and maybe trying to get in my topbox judging by how close you were. I knew you were there, I was waiting for a moment to move over. SO when there is a gap, you decided you'll use it as your own personal mini (micro!) overtaking lane. Its a good job I was tired and didnt bother to flick the SV into the gap, because you decided to go there too and we could have collided. You looked a pratt the way you had to brake hard to not go into the back of the car in front. Grr. |
