Winters round the corner, this may come in useful for someone else. It was saved for Kayla but for reasons, she doesn't want it.

It is an old X reg model - as in *** ***X
With 40,000 miles but runs like a gem.
MOT Till Feb, tax till May.
Plenty of life in tyres, chain and sprockets and brakes. Serviced last by a well known person from here as he used to own it. The man who owned it before I am led to believe, was an elderly chap who used to ride down the A14 to see his missus on this (some people will do anything to get their end away...)
It has a Rickman topbox which will be included in the sale.
It has just one problem which could probably be resolved fairly easily, the starter motor is fudged. So needs to be bump started, Speedplay watched me do it the other night, in second I literally pushed it by my side and did it. However, I may possibly have one from an ebay seller coming.
I will have some pictures fairly soon.

It is a cracking example. And dare I say a classic...Therefore, I want £8,000 for it :rolleyes:

However, I will settle at £500.

It's a cracking little bike. I have a feeling the starter motor just needs a strip down and clean up rather than replacement. It's happened to a couple of other SRs on the SR Yahoo group.

It is in amazing condition for a 1981/2 bike.

Bump again. £300 any good to anyone?
