ENP

Ongoing from the Griffin thread why can't we have a English National Party?
After all why have the SNP and WNP promoting what they consider best for their good and apart from the BNP there is nothing comparing for people who want the best for England.
I am not saying that the BNP is correct nor that any other party has a comprehensive policy
Tory for the richer
Labour for poorer and anything that might give them a vote
Lib Dem sit on the fence and see what happens
Ukip want us out of Europe

Even other countries have parties that promote things such as The Christian Democrats.

We are supposed to be a democracy but because a party wants to stand up for certain things we despise their right to do this. They, who ever they are can only get MP's by the ballot box and as we are a democracy the voter has the consensus

I think they managed a 2% share of those that bothered to vote at the recent European elections and, according to the BBC, have a mayor of Doncaster.

There is a Christian party in the Uk
Also there is the English Democratic party or something, I seem to remember sniggering in the booth when I read it.

Yes, both performed almost equally 'well'.

Just watched the election broadcast on the ED website - it amusingly sandwiches illegal immigration in between the devolved government in Wales voting for free prescriptions and subsidised school meals in Scotland. Quality.

Still, they're looking for general election candidates. Seems all you have to do is fill in their form on the website to get your place! Oh and be prepared to stump up and lose your deposit, no doubt.

Interesting question Mac, I'd like a Keith D party - at least you'd know from the start they wouldn't actually do anything!
