Should I Report Them?

Last week, I noticed some kid riding around the estate near my house on this tiny little bike. Sorry I dont know what it is, but seems to be a tiny tiny crosser/trials bike. and i mean tiny, like a miniature bike. (all i can say is its a 2-stroke because it smells nice)

This bike seems to have multiplied into 3 miniature tiny bikes, and basically, 3 kids are now riding around the roads near my house IN THE DARK with no headlights, no brake lights, no number plates, no helmets, no protective clothing, riding up one way roads, overtaking traffic in really dangerous places, over pavements and walkways.

these are obviously not made for the road, the kids are all underage so no licence, and they have no consideration for anyone else on the road and are downright dangerous now. they seem to be getting braver and more dangerous everyday.

what should i do? should i just wait for one of them to fall off and smash his head open? or cause an accident (they obviously arent insured) or report it to the police? or just ignore it and hope its just a phase that'll go away once it gets icy.

help oh mighty org

as funny as it would see for one of them to end in the ICU from being a ****, someone else could get hurt so report them is best.

in fact noone in my area likes bikes they report me if i wake them up on the way home from work, why hasnt anyone else in your neighborhood reported by now?

report them, a few months back I was in the doctor's waiting room sat next to a lad who had crashed one of those mini bikes and had busted has ankle up badly.
His mum was furious (I couldn't help overhearing) the jist of it was that this guy is facing a long and painful recovery, if he recovers well enought to walk properly again, because he was doing exactly the same thing that you've seen.

Definately report them before some one gets hurt, if they did have or cause an accident how would it make you feel knowing you perhaps could have prevented it.

For their, and everyone around them, safety I'd report them.

Unfortunately it appears that the current system means they'll have their bikes confiscated, and crushed.

Pity the local authorities can't take them in hand, work with them making sure they have the right safety eqpt, and a suitable area to do their off roading - happened for skateboarders.

Way of the world I guess

agreed - report them,

although Leeds police ignore this kind of thing as they cant chase them because it is unlikely they are wearing helmets.

Report them for sure!!!!!!!!!, why wait until they fall off & injure themselves, it would only be a waste of cash the NHS can hardly afford.
