Aftermarket footpegs / rearsets

I'm throwing a new lease of life at my SV. So far, I have had the carbs done, a new clutch cable and worm drive mechanism bit, new headrace bearings, new springs and new fork oil. I shall soon have a new hagon rear shock in the rear and loadsa grease on the bearings.

One thing I really dont need, but would love, are some nice footpegs. Preferably some adjustable ones, that I could make lower for longer journeys or higher if and when I decide to go on track. What have people changed their standard equipment footpegs for on here?

Its a pipeline idea, not essential (I am gonna see what I can do with the front brakes after the suspension is sorted) but somewhat desirable

I'd love some too, but I've found my high level can is in the way :( My only options are up & down. People seem to recommend the lowering plates.

I'll try, and go for the "lost courier" look :smt044

Lowering plates would be the nice and practical cheap option....but I want a set of finely produced footpegs, that little bit of machining beauty on an otherwise pretty average loking motorcycle. The keener-eyed folk who might glance at my bike for longer than 5 seconds before laughing at the topbox may well catch glimpse and thus think "hmm...tasty"

yes, I would like some purely for the show factor

'ahhh there's an otherwise pretty average looking motorcycle, heh top box too..ooooh wait, fancy, a set of finely machined rearsets - I wonder what sort of a tasteful, good looking young man owns such a....oh yeah top box:rolleyes:...ha!'

Nah wish I could justify them/get them to fit.

Am i right in thinking that none of those awesome footpegs have the capacity to attach the brake light switch thingy?

Just cable tie it to master cylinder bracket. Or get a pressure switch.

I have some TechG ones which are near exactly the same as the GBmotos, really good kit. Worth it just for the ballbearing levers. Feels horrible to ride a stocker now with a floppy gearchange!
