What to do with my exhaust
Blonde question-
I've just changed the exhaust on my bike, what should i do with the old one, given i'm not using it, and i can't really transport it anywhere (i dont drive). My mother says sell it but i can't post it, and i've no idea if its usable for someone else. Sorry, having a thick day. |
Re: What to do with my exhaust
I just got my bike 2 weeks ago and first thing i did was change the exhaust can. Bit of an **** ache having to cut the standard one off.
If i where you id keep it for if you want to come to sell it, the person buying it might like the original one. I no you'd have to get a clamp to attach the old one but it just shows them that you care you know. |
Re: What to do with my exhaust
Keep it, you may need it for a MOT depending how loud your new one is and how lenient your tester is.

Re: What to do with my exhaust
Save it, if you change your bike in the future you can re-fit the original and then sell the new one, also you have a spare if you were ever unfortunate enough for your bike to "fall" over?

No, i've put the standard one back on.
I didn't like the one that my bike came with as i found it too noisy |

Why can't you sell it. If you can't post advertise it on ebay and put collection only !

Re: What to do with my exhaust
I like quiet bikes, and i do a lot of riding at night through people.
If you think people would be interested i'll try sell it, but i wasn't sure people would want to buy a used exhaust. |
Re: What to do with my exhaust
You ride through people?
Hooligan. |
Re: What to do with my exhaust
Well I am sure somebody will buy it , pit it up on here in the "For Sale" Section with a picture and if it is a desirable can then it will be gone in minutes .
