Just received this via e-mail. Is it real? If so I'm sure we could sort out a few mags to amuse the troops.

Some help please, I am currently running a camp in Helmand Province in Afghanistan and I would like to get as many people as possible to send my blokes( many are v keen motorbikers) your read bike mags. I appologises for the direct approach but due to having to cater for everyones tastes bike mags are not delivered as part of our Operational welfare package.

The postage is free( upto 2kg), all it would cost is the envelope.

I have an uncanny stack of Nuts, Zoo, FHM, Ride and Bike Mags..

If it's real, can definately help, is it a MoD email?

Just googled the BFPO number and its coming up as Afghanistan, Im going to send some.

many of the ecosse folk were kind enough to take advantage of the free postal service and sent me lots of goodies when i was away last year for christmas.


trust me as a member of HM Royal Air Farce receiving any packages when you are away on detachment from friends and family especially over christmas is greatly appreciated.
