Pointy Curvy interchangable bits.

Obviously the curvy is a carb'd model and the pointy is FI

What I want to know is, could you drop the engine etc from a pointy into a curvy frame?
and
Can you put just the FI stuff on to a curvy engine thats already in a curvy frame. (I know the loom etc will be different so you'd need to swap those over as well).

I presume this is possible, but the clocks on the curvy wouldn't work so you would have to change clocks, wiring loom, reg/rec, coils etc. but the fuel injection bit just replaces the carbs but the point is also oil cooled so that might be an issue??
