Suzuki TS50X
1984 Suzuki TS50X
Yellow 28700 miles Just had it MOT'd and only has an advisory for slight freeplay in rear suspension bearing Mechanically it's pretty much perfect Cosmetically it's not so good but then it is a 25 year old bike! Was bought as a non runner and has since had some time, money and skint knuckles thrown at it. It was bought with the intention of kitkats daughter using it to get to work at the weekends so no corners were cut with getting it road worthy. Complete engine re-build including new crankshaft seals and bearings, New con rod, New barrel and piston (65cc big bore), Carbs were stripped and cleaned, Bearings were checked and greased as needed, Shock was replaced with a low mileage one, New front tyre, New throttle tube, New throttle, brake and clutch cables, New Suzuki silencer, New fork gaiters, New kick start lever, New rear light, New chain, New sprocket bearing, New front indicators, Newq yuasa battery, New cone filter (replaces standard panel filter), carbs have bigger jets to go with the free flowing filter. Rethal bars fitted Lots of other little bits and pieces (spacers gaskets etc etc), mostly genuine Suzuki parts. Brake shoes have loads of miles left in them plus there's a new set to go with the bike. All the plastics are there just the one on the RHS by the tank isn't fitted in the pictures I'll even throw in the Haynes manual, just in case ;) Just to sum up it's a tatty to look at 25yr old TS50X but basically has a new engine in it as it's done about 30 miles since the rebuild and not even run in yet! Looking for £500 ono pictures to follow |
