Which clutch springs

SV650 X 1999

How heavy are the heavy duty springs compared to the OEM, im a wimp and have weak forearms lol.

My springs (lol) are all below 56mm now and vary from 55.6 to 56mm. Im contemplating leaving them in for a softer clutch action, however will this 0.4mm upset the alignement.

Thanks

That's some pretty small forearms...

Is the clutch slipping? If not then don't worry about the numbers.
The SV clutch doesn't need stronger springs, they'll make the lever heavier for no benefit.

No not slipping, its off because its actually dragging lol.

I agree, i dont want or nor do i think it needs stronger springs, was just curious on the differing lengths.

thanks

dragging usualy is clutch adjustment or basket worn

Yep i know, see my other post.

The adjustment is fine, and its impossible for me to judge how bad the basket is. Im hoping it was just the crap oil as everything is to spec.

Yup stronger springs will not help the dragging at all.
