Cramond Inn

I would like to propose the East bike meet move to the Cramond Inn
Cramond.
Excellent parking for bike, large carpark which is tarmac.
Good food prices £6 for a main course.
Plenty of room inside and tables outside with views over the firth of forth.

sounds and looks nice, but a pain in the proverbial to get to, and it's a kinda dead end once your there, so you'd have to double back to get anywhere decent... and the thought of riding round gogar and through barnton fills me with dread! (but thats just me!)

Splinters in the bum time.
Agree the Crammond in is a great wee place.
Agree its a bit out of the way and a dead end.

The questions are, is the the planed meet point for bibios sunday bimbles or the midweek evening meet.
Is it a place to meet purely to head out for a run or is it somewhere to meet for a bite to eat, coffee and a blether?

I get the impression its a meet for a blether and a bite so see no real problems with the crammond suggestion. To be fair its only 5 miles / 10 mins from south queensferry.

This is just my opinion however and as i make this meet rarely I'll keep out of it;)

its for the midweek evening meet for coffee and banter....

bibio's sunday bimbles will be held same place same time once bibio gets his bum into gear and gets better, another bike with better weather...

its a suggestion for those who wish to attend the east weakly bike meet that is supposed to be at the haughs (which has gone completely down hill if you ask me). we have also had a meeting at the crusoe in lower largo which was nice too (but that was mainly for the fife side of things). we could do a bi-weakly thing and alternate between the 2.

no no no not me guv - i aint doing no Bi thing

alternating would be better for those that maybe can't get away to meet up all the time due to distance. Fife one week, Edinburgh ish the next

Incorrect

Re: Cramond Inn

Bi-weekly has a double meaning

adjective &
adverb appearing or taking place every two weeks or twice a week.

However, fortnightly would be the better term to use
