Cheers Tom |
Re: private reg
Yep needs to be on 2 lines unless like my old one of just 3 digits

Re: private reg
Stu is correct .... its too many digits to have on one line .....
I've got a couple of private regs on retention ...... but been weary of putting them on a bike .... I have heard if the bike goes missing, the plate is lost too ..... is that right ?? |
Re: private reg
No, after a period of time you can apply to have the number put on your replacement bike. Might be a good idea to make it a different colour/model though, otherwise it can be quite exciting if a policeman does a check (the old bike will still be shown as stolen against the reg number)

Re: private reg
Its not legal and you will look like every other chav with a private plate.. ;)

Re: private reg
most motorcycle plate sizes are illegal anyhow because of there size, i know mines too small but it looks loads better than the standard 2 x 2 slab on the back.

LOL...... although the *rolls eyes* is a bit *rolls eyes* :D The plates looked great on my cars ...... mostly because (esp on the TT and Lotus Elise) people looked at the car and didn't concern themselves with ... oh, its only a 2004, etc, etc !!!!) ..... but not sure about putting a private plate on a bike ..... |
Re: private reg
I used to have J12 UMS :) but it was positioned like: J12UM S
Didn't get pulled or fined once in 4 years of owning that plate. |
