mummys little soldier strikes again

Some years ago he told us his then girlfriends dad had banned him from parking on his drive due to oil leaks, 3 days later he seizes his engine. The red light came on so I thought I had better bring it round for dad to look at.

The other day I asked him about the oil patch outside his house, yes I think it is coming from my van. So he went to Gloucester. This time it is his gearbox that has failed.

One day he might just realise that oil is the lifeblood of an engine/gearbox.

Bank of mum & dad will be closed on this one.

Tim, you can't just suddenly cut off the bank of mum and dad. Shame on you for not having the spares to hand and checking it for him...

:D

I tend to think people are only interested in learning these tiresome jobs where they see personal consequence.

Oh dear, does he also get the naughty step? :smt105

You say that the bank of Mum & Dad is closed, but which one of you will say to him

as a current user of the bank of mum and dad (i'm a student :D lol) i should warn you that it never closes, not even on a sunday (that's prime time, when the rentals are in a roast coma having a snooze at 3pm and their guard is down)

Bank of mum and dad has been closed for a very long time, and a good thing too. It's not closed for my sister, who earns a good bit more than me and has less outgoings, yet I'm the one that has money. Odd.
Closing that bank is a good lesson for him to learn.

Interesting side note, my uncle and aunt are both GPs in Gloucester. You'll never guess my family name....
