Holes in bars
Could somebody tell me roughly where the holes on the bars are for the controls. IE are they about 8 inches in and roughly on the top edge etc etc

Re: Holes in bars
If your are talking about what i think you are the switches dont bolt through the bars they screw together, usually a screw from the back of the switch gear to the front which hold them on |

There's a locating lug to stop your switch gears spinning round. Afraid I don't know the dimensions, but it's a faff to do and I was not looking forward to doing when I was swapping my bnars, but when I received my replacement switchgear from an orger they've failed to mention the lug had been snapped off  this actually worked out for the best as I used a YC tip and wrapped the bar in leccytape and secured the switchgear on, Filed down the other switch gear's lug and did the same on that side. Never budged. p.s FG1 if you still want to drill the bars mentioning what bike it is will help anyone give you the info you need. Assuming it's a naked 650, I'd guess they're the same on all models but could be wrong. |

Re: Holes in bars
It is the switchgear holes I am on about. I have seen some bars for sale which are already drilled so was wondering if the holes would be in a suitable place already.
I suppose I could always take mine off and have a look but tbh I can't be ar5ed.... |
