This picture makes me think one word: PILCHARD!!!

Not only was there a "Road Closed" sign, but a moped coming in the other direction and the end of the street was mainly pipes & rubble.

Oh, thanks. the sign is so badly placed I thought it referred to the road on the left so I'm not surprised the car turned into it, perhaps to avoid the "closed road" and he wouldn't see* the rubble until he had turned in


*going by drivers who don't see me on a bicycle until I'm almost all over their bonnet :roll:
