I know the xbox's are divided in regions, though generally most other regions can play European stuff. Normally its us that can't, I think I can find out though.

Right these are the region rules -

Quote:

Determine whether the game disc is from the same region as the region where you purchased the Xbox console. To determine the region, view the back of the game package. Look for one of the following codes:

NTSC: North America and South America (United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Brazil)
NTSC-J: Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan)
PAL: Europe, South Africa, India, Australia, and New Zealand

So if you brother has got 'PAL' on any of his games and he has a true New Zealand xbox he should be able to play UK titles.

Yes they will as NZ are PAL like the UK.

If it is PAL then he is fine , the only downside I can see to it is DLC or Down-Loadable Content . If it hasn`t been granted a licence in NZ then it may not be available to download but I think that will be a very Minor issue .
