SV650 = SV1000 parts

Hi all,

I need to replace both mirrors (one very corroded and the other snapped) and a new clutch lever...snapped the ball off.

I'm finding a lot of 650 parts but not so many 1000. Would the these 650 part fit my 1000?

Just how much of the 650 bolts onto the 1K?

Cheers,
Neil

Maybe I rambled....

Are the clutch levers the same between k3+ 650's and 1000's?

Are the faired mirrors the same on k3+ 650's and 1000's?

I'm finding what I want, either on ebay or other websites, but they are only being listed as 650.

Help wanted? Public transport for another week is not good for the sole (or wallet).

CHeers and beers,
Neil

The 1000 uses a fluid clutch so won't swap.

If you struggle I think hein gericke do pattern levers for a tenner.

The levers aren't inter-changable, as with the majority of the transmission and engine. Onlu thing that is the same is the rear brake caliper I think.

The mirrors will fit though as most of the body work is the same bar the lower fairings.
