How many miles did you do in that year?
I had a set of dunlops that only lasted me a few months, but I'd done 5k miles on them...
My first storm did 5k and still had plenty of life in the rear but I've just swapped it was squaring. reckon I woulda got 6k out of it.

Put a pair of storms on the SVS, 6500 so far, looks like the back is begining to square a bit, so not sure how much longer it will be before new stickie stuff its required.

approx 9k on my current stoms ( not motorway miles)

Rear is down to wear markers & front is worn even more , which is strange as normally rear wears quicker than front .

Will change as soon as I get paid , probably another set of storms as they have given me the best mileage so far closley followed by Pirelli Diablo stradas

cheers Steve

Good mileage there. I have chewed through a rear in as little as 4.5K miles, although 6K miles seems about average for me on the VFR.

I've been pleased esp since I have slow puncture on rear tyre since 5k and has been ran at lower than normal pressures at times , also I'm 16 stone

Recon I could have got 10 k

Cheers Steveg

That`s good going that to get that Steve , I get around 6k out of mine and they get a hard life . I have had other tyres on the SV that didn`t last 3.5k and felt very dodgy . Storms are planted , predictable in their nature , give good feedback and feel safe and you get more mileage out of them than other softer tyres .

I'd be happy to get a few thousand miles out of my storms, but they usually get punctured before they're worn out :-(
I've had all four tyres on both bikes get nasty nails in them.
