It's not very secure. Just two pins.

Looks great, lazy, but great. Especially on castors.

Is it just me though or are the two fairly short pins horizontally pushed into the frame an unstable means of holding the bike up? Surely a knock could see it come clean off?

Yeah saw this on the Gixer boyz forum. Pretty amazing. But yeah I agree about the pins holding it but it must have been thought though so there must be something we're not comprehending???

Re: The best bike stand ever?

The Ducati Performance rear paddock stand for the 916 range just slots into the rear wheel hub. My mate's 748 Bip shook itself off the rear stand and wrecked the fairing while it was warming up one sunny afternoon. Harris do a really good one that has a securing bolt that goes through the rear hub and locks it on to make sure that can't happen, but as it doesn't come in bright red with Ducati stickers not many get sold.

IIRC one for the 955i has a rubber thing in the spindle to go through the axle, so when you've picked it up you can tighten a handle to lock the rubber dooberry in place.

It looks good but, you might aswell just use a normal paddock stand
