Depends what card you get for it. It uses 1.6gb per hour of video.

A 16gb card will hold 12 hours at full resolution

I was thinking about one of these as a Security monitor because I heard you can use it to record anyone near your bike as it will sense motion and record , thus doubling as Bike Security when not on the bike to record jollies :)

Yeh it does have a motion detection mode. That's a good idea actually
