condensation in clocks

I changed a bulb on the rev counter a month or so ago, now I see I have some condensation behind the glass, I know I fitted the rubber plugs okay. maybe mosture got in while I was waiting for the replacements to arrive. Has anyone any hints on how to remove it or is it best to leave well alone.

Probably got damp when you had it open. You could try opening it up again on a dry warm day (not soon then!) or inside, or putting one of those little moisture absorbing packet things in that you get in shoe boxes etc. My clocks have started doing this too but I know that the case is cracked from my off in March.

Take them apart and sort it before anything goes tits up.

If in doubt use some grease around all sealing surfaces and the plugs for the bulbs. Good idea about the silica gel.
