Hardy Bikers Weekend

Richie, I dont know if you wish to make this one a sticky, but as it has been proposed, I need to organise the Hardy Bikers weekend.

Personally I can only do the 20th February but if the majority wish to do another weekend then I will put it to poll and someone else can organise it!

If people are in favour of that weekend, then I will need someone who attended for the overnight stop last year to confer with me.

Let me know your thoughts guys....

Last year at the Ambleside Backpackers was good, it was used the previous year too. The place they have is more than adequate for our needs, plus the village has all the eateries that caters for everyones tastes, plus plenty of pubs a short walk away. And with the price of your accomodation you get self serve breakfast.
Only thing is, people do have to understand that using the Backpackers does mean you are sharing with others that aren't with our group, and you should be aware of that when getting ratted.

Agreed DB, Rob if you need some help then I offer my services. Feb 20 sounds ok, so since you can make that then it should be so.

Count me in for it - the only change I'd like, I've made in swapping to the trumpet.

shhh but Peg has volunteered for TEC...lol(he doesn't know yet). Only cause the bus can't handle our twisty roads!!!

We're up for this, if the weather looks good. Last year was great, the weather held, even if the reccie group got snowed on the couple of weeks before!

That bus might be a better handler than you think - there was a guy on one on the bike skills day I did at Silverstone who was able to make the rest of us look silly on some really tight circles, because it carries its weight nice and low.

oh it most certainly does handle, and the rider is more than capable to do so.....doesn't mean the bike don't complain ;-)

Took him up kettlewell a few months back, ZZR Vs SV...I won :-)

a. it's far nicer riding behind you Lou......
b. did Pete know where he was going :smt102
c. failing to "win" probably resulted in it's own rewards for him...;)

But of course none of the above had any sway at all on the day and your riding skills were obviously far superior :smt037

Must remember to dodge the blow next time we meet....:D

Cheers Mark.
