Internet Filtering for Home
Kids are asking to go on the internet more so I need to start filtering - what's best for home use?
Cheers, Kev |
Re: Internet Filtering for Home
Only kind of filtering i know about is what i do on my bike thru traffic so i would not recommend that for indoors.

Re: Internet Filtering for Home
Put the computer in a communal room.
Out of interest though, how old are the kids and what do you want to filter them from? |
Re: Internet Filtering for Home
both young 9 & 5 and not really wanting to do anything bad yet, but I want to shield them from any accidental iffy sites.
I agree with the communal room, but it isn't always practical. Especially as my eldest has a lot of research that she is expected to do on the internet. I have set her up an e-mail address, but already there are friend requests in there from dodgy addresses. |
Re: Internet Filtering for Home
Try give them their own computer, kids are really f***ing stupid and will click on lots of spam-smiley sites etc.
