Due to a regulator/rectifier failure, my tacho and speedo were faitally damaged. being a naked version, second hand ones were as rare as hens teeth,so i searched for someone who could repair them. i found SCORPIO ELECTRONICS in norfolk. the clocks are now totally fixed and the bill was very reasonable considering the difficult repair, especially the tacho, where parts were sourced from japan. i cannot praise MARK TSANG enough for his great work.

How did he do it? I think this info could be passed on to people who own 1998-2001 VFR's - the digital display has a tendancy to fail

his business if you check out his website is all things clockwise and digital. i feel sure all bikes could be catered for, he,s just a phone call away. certainly saved me grief.

I emailed the website link to my dad; he;s a car mechanic by trade, I could imagine easily a situation where a disgruntled customer comes in with a dashboard problem and needs the services of such a company

i have read a few posts where clocks on sv,s have gone west and was concerned when mine did the same. finding scorpio was great, because the cost of new was horrendous. £175 + vat for the tacho, as an example. thanks for the positve response to my post.
