One for the money.

So I go off to london to do some work leaving my car at the office in Northampton. Arrive back after a looooooong day at work starting at 8.30am and arriving back at the office at 4am to find some thieving scrotebags had decided to try and relieve my car off all of it wheels.
I personally think cars look and work better with wheels but then what do I know.

Fortunately they had only managed to get away with one but the rest were attached by only one loose bolt each apart from one of the front wheels which was holding the car up by the wheel arch at a angle.

So at 4am in the snow there's me with two trolley jacks attempting to reattach the wheel and grab the spare out of the boot to give me the 4 wheel I needed to get the car away from the office incase they decided to come back and finish the job. They seem to have stolen a few wheel nuts aswell but again fortunately I had a spare set of locking wheel nuts in the boot to attach the wheel firmly enough to get home.

What a ball ache!!! So have spent most of today trying to find replacement wheel nuts which are non exsistant so went and bought 2 packs of locking wheel nuts to get back to the full amount of nuts and replace the old locking wheel nuts...wheel nuts.

To top it off aswell I have someone coming round tomorrow who wants to buy the car so I had to phone her up and tell her everything but she seemed okay as there is no actual damage and I would compensate enough for her to buy a new spare wheel if she ends up buying it.

So not even the snow has deterred pikey scum bags.

What sort of car do you have for somebody to try nicking your wheels?

And it must be seriously special to have the nuts as well! Cheeky buggers :-(

Spare set Stu...spare. Meaning there was a set on the wheels and a spare set in the boot :)

VT it was parked at Moulton Park. Very little traffic perfect to get up to mischeif without being seen. That said I've been parking it there for nearly 3 years now withno issues.

it's a Lexus IS200 so not that special but the wheels are the big 18" jobbies and rare as hens teeth so can't get a replacement easily :(

Locking wheel nuts do bugger all anyway, you can get them off with a double hex socket and a hammer.
