Engine case paint?
<<<< 1999 SV.
Waterpump paint Mines a mess, i dont think it will get hot enough to cure VHT paint, and halfords stuff is grey rather than black, any ideas what to use. Could i whack it in the oven? |
Re: Engine case paint?
On the back of the Halfords High Temp stuff (in gloss black) it says
Apply with clean brush etc etc, the paint should be touch dry in 80 to 90 mins, second and subsequent coats must be applied within 2 hours. The coat will be fully cured and maybe re coated after 16 hours. For best results use in warm dry and dust free environment I picked up a tin yesterday for the same job and a few other spots on the engine, e.g. the crank bolt cover thing on the LHS |
