What's the best lie, fib, or untruth you have used, or overheard a mate use, to impress the opposite sex?

My friend badly burnt his hand in hot fat trying to cook himself some chips.

A week later he was spotted showing two adoring girls in the pub his blistered hand while telling them that he suffered the injury "rescuing some puppies from a fire".

Me and a friend once convinced a couple of young ladies in a niteclub that we were search and rescue helicopter pilots.
Fortunately at the time we did know quite a bit about helicopters etc...

Being in Northern Ireland didn't have the same effect for some reason.

The only way i can get into a girls knickers is by lying.

I once told some chick that i really didnt like the look of that i couldnt dance with her cos i had a wooden leg tho. That got rid of her :lol:

After a mate had an insurance pay out we went on a VIP style top notch night out. Pretended we were both jockeys and good ones, we were caught out very quickly as neighter of us knew a thing about horses. Rather than admitting out sins and been honest we went deeper and said in truth he'd won the lottery but he didnt want to shout about it or he'd end up surrounded by gold diggers, oddly they belived that.

Once in my younger days met a girl in a club, told her that my name was Russell Sprout and was a buyer for a leading supermarket in the fruit and veg department, after the evening drew to a close we finaly went back to her place and to my suprise her parents were still watching tv as we entered. She introduced me to her parents as Russell Sprout and I worked as a buyer, the next thing her father stood up and said " its about time you were heading home isn't it son". I left quickly and never did see her again.
