Quatt today
 

Anyone like to meet up?

Sunny day here in Shroppie, if a bit cold. So the bike will see the road for the first time in a month - 15 Dec was its last outing, and it hasn't seen a washbucket since then either. Anyway I'm going to Quatt today, will be there around 11.45, maybe slightly later.

Nice ride... but south Shropshire is waterloged. There are mini rivers in the road - run off from snow melt, bringing silt and all sorts of yuk with it. ANd the road surface on the Corvedale road - just awful where National Grid have buried a pipe - just where you want to ride, the patch was bad and the frost has broken it up so there's bits of roadstone across the carriageway.

Anyway, just back and took some pics. Underneath all this there's a motorbike. No, really there is:

I counted 52 bikes (including the comers and goers) and a Goldwing trike, so yes quite busy. I saw a Gixxer just like yours, clean as yours too, thought you must be inside but alas no Kwakster there. Funny, some very large bloke left on his Bandit headed for Bridgo, pulled a wheelie up the A458, someone on the stoop said 'that's what happens when you weigh 20 stone':lol:

You're brave, my bike hasn't moved for a couple of months. In fact it's time I gave it it's yearly service.

Yes - that's its real name, I just call it the bike cafe at Quatt. There was a pointy naked there this morning, two up - was it you??
