Fitting Powerbronze fairing lowers

Hello all,

As the final stage of my crash repairs, the Powerbronze fairing lowers arrived yesterday.

Now trying to fit them (this is a curvy)!

The panels seem ok (if not quite the same shape as the old ones) but the fitting kit is pants. Crude pieces of stamped and pressed steel which no matter how much you jiggle them around don't get the holes in the right places - we are talking about them being out by inches, not millimetres.

Also the left hand bracket seems to require you to leave an engine bolt partly undone - can't be good. This is such a contrast to the mounting kit for the old lowers, which looked like a really nicely made piece of kit.

Does anyone have any advice for:

(a) how to get the damn things on, or

(b) who else makes/sells lowers for the curvy, so I can work out where the old ones came from (it obviously wasn't Powerbronze).

Cheers,

G

Check out Robinsons Foundary website. They sell the lowers that Suzuki adopted (and the best looking ones) but they are originally from a German company whos name escapes my for the moment. Someone will know soon enough though.
Good luck.

I remembered on the way home today! A goo close up on their site should confirm if they were the ones you had.
