Round Britain Bike Ride..? Anyone done it?
A friend of mine has just text me saying that he wants to organise a round Britain charity ride. Neither he nor I have the first idea about doing something like this so I said I would ask my chums on the org if anyone had ever done it...basically tell us how to do it.
It sounds like it's going to be an intense affair over a weekend. Is this even possible? Any help or advice gratefully received. |

Re: Round Britain Bike Ride..? Anyone done it?
It's aproximately 5000 miles round the coast of Britain , 60% of it in Scotland. An alternative is to cross Britain visiting key points (offices of your charity maybe) just a thought

Not possible in a weekend I'd imagine! Although if it was done over a nice relaxing number of weeks, it would be a very enjoyable trip :).

I looked ay doing a round scotland and planned my routes timings etc. 3 days was the shortest i could see managing it and to enjoy it i reckoned 5. Depends what you mean by around britain..
ie right around the coast or just hitting lands end . o groats and some notable points in between |
Re: Round Britain Bike Ride..? Anyone done it?
Why would you want to rush it for?
