Any Aussies about?
Does anyone know any people in Australia with the surname Neill, Hurley or O'Riordan?
My family are researching our family tree and a line of the Neill's moved to the Sydney area just after WWII Ta Paul |

If it is any help there is a site someplace which gives the names of people who emigrated and which ship and where they landed---------not a lot of good, but someplace to start

Re: Any Aussies about?
This might sound false but I was over in Oz back in 1990, watching the highlights of the England V Cameroon game on the Tv in the morning, when two girls sat down eitherside of me.
One asked if I was British... "Yes" was the answer. then the other asked if I knew a place called Millom. "yes" was the answer. Then the other Asked "Did I used to work in the Station Hotel"......... "Yes... Why..?" I said... "Your Auntie Jackie said If we saw you in Oz that she's says Hi."... small world... |
