Anyone been to a MotoGP whilst on holiday?
 

Hi all

We are looking at going to the Assen GP in June, but all the sites I've seen that sell tickets say that they send out the tickets approx 7 - 10 days before the event. Problem is the GP lies at the end of our 2 week holiday in Europe, so we won't be at home to get the tickets.

I presume this is a scenario that many people have been in, so what is the best way to ensure we get to Assen?

Well we had our honeymoon and incorporated the MotoGP at Catalunya, we went for a package with VIP tickets so it was all sorted for us. That's not much help to you but I would have expected that you can do a 'box office' type thing where you can pick them up there.

Most times I get the foreign GP's sent to the house too but I've done....

Sachsenring - Printed out tickets at home as soon as you bought them. Barcode zapped at the gate.

Catalunya - Once collected on the friday of the GP at circuit (quieter), same for Jerez.



I always buy tickets from the circuit or their official outlets. Most places have english speakers and are happy to help.


I would be looking into just collecting them at the ticket office. The Dutch speak great English. Phone the circuit! Always mean to go to Assen........

I've looked online and can't find any contact details to get hold of the office at the circuit itself.

I guess our best bet is to turn up there on the Thursday and buy a weekend ticket on the gate, if that's possible.
Just don't want to drive all that way to find out that it's sold out!

We just bought our tickets for Le Mans at the gate last year, no probs at all.
