02 SVS Light wiring question

My center light (between the headlights) isn't working.
Quit working after a crash mid 08 but didn't realise till after the bike was back together that it wasn't working.
A quick check with a test probe shows no power at the socket.
Wiring diagrams show this same wire/circut also powers the tail and plate lights which both work.
My question is: Are there accessable wires running to the back of the socket where I might could do some possible re-wiring or is this part of a circuit board type assembly???

Can't seem to find any specific info in Clymer manual.

Re: 02 SVS Light wiring question

According to the Haynes manual, the earth wire ( black & white ) connects to the same earth as the headlamps, signals & horn switch.
The brown feed wire joins the tail & plate lights and goes into the ignition switch. Pretty sure it's a wiring rather than circuit board job, but don't rely on me!
