Ok Buffy fans, honest opinions please...

Those of you who know me know I tend to keep my art focus animal related. However, having recently rekindled my schoolgirl crush on the god that is James Marsters I decided to give his portrait a go.

I hereby give you my first proper attempt at a human bean.

Honest opinions please.

well i recognised who it was so it must be good.

slight criticism, i think the face is a bit to long and the cheek bone is a bit to pronounced.

but very good attempt. better than i could ever hope to do.

well done missy

Gone a bit Ian Mckellen (sp?). Looks a bit old. Good sketch though.

Edit: If it's a Buffy Era JM anyway. Possibly spot on now....

VERY good work.... far better than I could ever hope to do.

Right eye looks a bit wrong to me. Bit small and not quite positioned right. But that's being pretty picky.

fantastic work there, proportions are just great!

I am no expert but the type of shading (perhaps this is the pencil you have used) you have managed to make his skin look a little worse for wear, saying that I think that might be the quality of the scan rather then the drawing so please feel free to ignore me.
