ps3 question

borrowed my bros ps3
my tv has no hdmi imput i have a ps2 cable to put it through scart but cant seem to get it to work even though it fits the conector in the back of ps3, am i missing something

woohoo just got it working had to reset screen thingy by holding power button ,meh
