Loads of good eBay sellers too.

Re: Another chain thread!!!
I use b and c express. There are some copy chains floating about so IMO it's worth buying from a known seller. Cheapo chains are false economy.

Re: Another chain thread!!!
I'm sorry for the noob question but I can't for the life of me remember, wot is the standard link length and sprocket size for curvy sv650sk1s? If I geared it for a bit more acceleration what sizes should i go for and how wud that affect mpg on motorway commuting etc because I wouldn't mind getting a bit
more pull but I don't wana anhialate my mpg cuz I commute on it all the time! |
Re: Another chain thread!!!
Stock is 15/44 108 links 525 pitch chain.
I tried 15/48 and thought it was great fun. Motorway mpg was ok steady but did have a bit of a drinking habit when you were on and off the throttle a lot. then again I do have other mods on bike. |

Re: Another chain thread!!!
JHS cams, M4 pipe, BMC race RS filter, tank raiser, silicon leads, rejet.
Yes it is curvy. I put a 112 link chain on but I would probably have got away with stock 110. Bear in mind the N swingarm is slightly longer. |
Re: Another chain thread!!!
Can you upgrade the reed valves (between carb and cylinder) to improve response on a curvy? Would that damage steady mpg or jus acceleration mpg? Off topic a bit I kno but suuure haha
